The Nectar Effect is an alternative rock formation from Leiden, consisting of Koen van Leeuwen, Ophir Waasdorp, Tijmen Krom and Luc Zwinkels. The band’s name symbolizes the unique moment during which music and listener become one. This very experience is achieved during their dynamic live shows, by performing creative, intense and moving original compositions with a burning passion and contagious energy. Grunge, punk, blues and funk influences all culminate into an authentic sound, recognized by melodic guitar lines and memorable hooks.
